The Week Ahead: Public Hearing on Clark's 2012 Municipal Budget

What's going on in Clark and Garwood the week of April 16.

 

Clark Council meets Monday night at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers above the police station. Agenda items include the public hearing on the 2012 municipal budget, authorizing the purchase of police SUV, and authorizing an agreement for an Automatic License Plate Recognition System. The Clark Zoning Board meets Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in council chambers. See a PDF of the meeting agenda in our gallery, right.

On Wednesday, April 18, Valley Road School PTA meets at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

On Friday, April 20 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.,  the Young Professionals of PSEG, with Psi Upsilon of NJIT, are hosting a Dodgeball Tournament at Brewer Recreation Center in Clark to benefit the March of Dimes. The fee to play for a team of 6 players is $150, with $25 for each additonal player. 

On Sunday, April 22, archery safety classes begin again at Clark's Oak Ridge Park. Each archery course is two hours long and consists of a safety training session followed by hands-on instruction at the range. The fee is $20 per person, which is due at registration. There will be a minimum of eight and a maximum of 24 participants per class. Archery equipment is provided.
