Clark continues its Toys for Tots drive. Collection boxes are located at the following locations through Dec. 12th:
Clark Municipal Building, 430 Westfield Avenue, Clark
Clark Public Library, 303 Westfield Avenue, Clark
Investors Bank, 56 Westfield Avenue, Clark
Access Self Storage, 360 Central Avenue, Clark
Access Self Storage, 750 Boulevard, Kenilworth
Dr. Robinson Museum, November 20 from 12-4 PM and December 3 & 4 from 12 - 4 PM, 593 Madison Hill Road, Clark
Clark and Garwood libraries also continue their holiday food drives. The libraries will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the New Jersey Community Food Bank and other local food pantries. Collection bins will be conveniently located at the library and library staff will then route 100% of the donations to designated food banks.
Monday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m: Clark Council Meeting. This workshop meeting will take place in Room 30 in the Municipal Building. All are welcome.
Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m.: "The Help" at the Clark Library - The library's "Totally New Tuesdays" presents "The Help" (Rated PG-13). Skeeter, a southern society girl, returns from college during the 1960’s determined to become a writer, but turns her friends' lives, and a small Mississippi town, upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families. Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.: Movie and Music at The Crossroads – Enjoy a night of music and a movie screening. Tuesday's featured acts are - Hangover 2 - Movie Screening at (7:00 p.m.) and Jazz Jam w/ the Xroads All Stars (9:00 p.m.). Cover charge is $6. Saturday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m.: Santa and Mrs. Claus Visit the Garwood Library - The Garwood Library is hosting a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus who will stop by the Library to share a story or two and provide parents with an opportunity to take pictures of the Claus's with their children. Refreshments are provided. Registration is required for this event, with preference given to Garwood residents first.
