The Clark Blotter: Police Investigate Locker Theft at Retro Fitness
The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Clark police activity from Feb. 13 - 20, 2012.
Feb. 20, 11:47 p.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Chelecine Demosthene, age 23, a healthcare worker of 444 Jefferson Avenue, Apt. E in Elizabeth on an outstanding warrant from Westfield in the amount of $500 for contempt of court. Demosthene was subsequently turned over to the Westfield P.D. Joshua Disano was the arresting officer.
Feb. 20, 6:35 p.m. – Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at Retro Fitness, 225 Terminal Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Miguel Acabou was the investigating officer.
Feb. 19, 4:24 p.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence at 43 Liberty Street. The incident is under investigation. Keith Meehan was the investigating officer.
Feb. 19, 1:44 p.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence at 19 Washington Street. The incident is under investigation. Daniel Pitts was the investigating officer.
Feb. 16, 11:40 a.m. – At the Essex County Jail, police arrested Alberto Maymi, age 32, employment unknown of 645 Summer Avenue in Newark on two outstanding warrants for contempt of court totaling $623. Maymi was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Joseph Mirabile was the arresting officer.
