The Blotter: Clark Police Activity, Feb. 28 - March 7

Two ShopRite shoplifters, seven arrests for outstanding warrants, a DWI, burglary to a motor vehicle...and a partridge in a pear tree?

March 6, 2:54 a.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Michael Fillipone, age 41, single, a healthcare worker of 2004 Hilltop Road in Scotch Plains on outstanding warrants from Bridgewater, Lavallette, North Brunswick and Scotch Plains totaling $1,803 for contempt of court. Fillipone was subsequently released after posting bail. George Marmarou was the arresting officer.   

March 5, 5:44 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue (ShopRite), police arrested Talisa McLeod Ifezue, age 47, single, a temporary worker of 139 Armstrong Lane in Perth Amboy for shoplifting $125.24 worth of merchandise. Ifezue was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. George Marmarou was the arresting officer.   

March 5, 12:30 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield and Brant avenues, police arrested William Fanslau, age 23, single, unemployed of 306 North 10th Street in Newark on outstanding warrants from Clark and Newark totaling $713 for contempt of court. Fanslau was subsequently released after posting bail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

March 4, 7:13 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound, police arrested William Russell, age 36, married, unemployed of 26 Dandridge Drive in Newark on outstanding warrants from Woodbridge and Elizabeth totaling $7,948 for contempt of court. Russell was subsequently turned over to the Woodbridge Police Department. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.   

March 4, 1:23 a.m. – At the Hazlet Police Department, police arrested Donald Longo, age 35, married, unemployed of 440 Atlantic Street in Keyport on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. Longo was subsequently released after posting bail. Daniel Joy was the arresting officer.

March 3, 2:05 p.m. – At 219 Lexington Blvd., police arrested Anthony Nicastri, age 43, single, unemployed of 219 Lexington Blvd., Apt. #8 on outstanding warrants from Belleville and Point Pleasant in the amount of $642. Nicastri was subsequently turned over to the Point Pleasant Police Department.  Dan Pitts was the arresting officer.    

March 2, 9: 25 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue (ShopRite), police arrested Stephanie Belasco, age 60, single, unemployed of 672 Westfield Avenue in Westfield for shoplifting. Belasco was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Patrick Grady was the arresting officer.   

March 2, 3:08 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Featherbed Lane, police arrested Domingo Luna, age 38, married, unemployed of 43D Colfax Manor in Roselle Park for DWI. Luna was subsequently released after posting bail. Marty Venezio was the arresting officer.   

March 1, 1:05 p.m. – Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at 8 Locust Grove Drive.  The incident is under investigation. Kenneth Sarnecki was the investigating officer.  

March 1, 10:18 a.m. – In the vicinity of Broadway and Harding Avenue, police arrested Marc Raynor, age 21, single, unemployed of 213 Arthur Street in Linden on outstanding warrants from Linden and Trenton totaling $2,625 for contempt of court. Raynor was subsequently released after posting bail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.   

March 1, 12:06 a.m. – At the Bernardsville Police Department, police arrested Baheejah Osifo, age 31, single, a healthcare worker of 530 Park Avenue, Apt. H1 in Orange on outstanding warrants totaling $1,000 for contempt of court. Osifo was subsequently released after posting bail. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.
