Kindergarteners in Meghan Zampella’s class at Valley Road School in Clark spent their Friday afternoon building gingerbread houses with their parents. Students read and compared a variety of gingerbread books throughout the week, painted gingerbread glyphs, and finished the week by inviting their parents in to help them craft their own holiday gingerbread houses. Students iced milk cartons and covered them in graham crackers, cereal, and candy.
