On Thursday, June 7, 2012, the Johnson High School Cheerleaders traveled to Jonathan Dayton High School in Springfield to participate in the annual Cheers for Charity Event.

The Cheers for Charity event is a fundraiser held by the cheerleading teams of Union County to raise money for the Children's Specialized Hospital.  Other teams in attendance were the: Cranford Cougars, Governor Livingston HighLanders, Elizabeth Minutemen, Rahway Indian, Brearley Bears and Dayton Bulldogs.
