Black writes: "I took this picture about 3 weeks ago on my street Parkway Drive in Clark! It's not the first time I've seen him, but this time he had a partner. I believe they are a mating pair & they fly between the woods across the street from my house to the woods in Rahway Park!"

Clark's Oak Ridge Park has been home to plenty of wildlife, and one lucky photographer happened to catch this great shot: a small owl perched in a tree.

After we published this story, reader Donna Black sent us a photo she took recently of an different horned owl near her home on Parkway Drive. (See it in our gallery, right.)

"I took this picture about three weeks ago," writes Black. "It's not the first time I've seen him, but this time he had a partner. I believe they are a mating pair and they fly between the woods across the street from my house to the woods in Rahway Park."

I'm pretty sure that owl is a northern saw-whet owl & not a baby owl.
