Patch Poll: What's Your New Year's Resolution?
Will you join the millions of people who will set out to make — and keep — a New Year's resolution this year? What will it be?
With just hours to go before we usher in 2013, many people are embarking on an annual tradition — making their New Year's resolution. Yes, it's that time again, and as midnight approaches, you may be pondering what kind of changes you will be making in the coming months.
Will you seek to break bad habits? Maybe you're hoping to work out more or make some type of healthy lifestyle change. Or are you planning to accomplish other goals such as doing more charity work, volunteering somewhere or recycling more often?
According to USA.gov, some of the top New Year's resolutions include losing weight, drinking less alcohol, finding a better job, reducing stress and getting a better education, among other things.
On the other hand, there are many people who don't believe in making New Year's resolutions.
So will you join the millions who will set goals as the clock strikes midnight? Tell us by answering the poll question below or leaving a comment.
And of course, we wish all of our Patch readers a happy and healthy new year!

I'm you know who and since this seems like a multi-town article I cannot sign my real name.
My resolution for 2013 is a little less ambitious than solving a murder or splitting atoms. Instead, I believe that Pat and I will attempt to replace all our trees with the kind that only bare needles. This way we won't have snow covered leave mountains on the street in front of our home. It seems to be an annual December/January event. Herbie doesn't seem to have this problem, but he lives in Fanwood.

I resolve to avoid comment sections everywhere on the internet.
