Clark Police Make Three Shoplifting Arrests at Target

Police activity from March 14 - 21.

March 19, 12:13 p.m. – In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, police arrested Kekao Collins, age 35, single, a laborer of 908 West Front Street in Plainfield on outstanding warrants totaling $1,263 from Elizabeth, Matawan, Piscataway and the Union County Sheriff’s Office for contempt of court. Collins was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.

March 17, 12:06 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue (Target), police arrested Lilliana Ortiz, age 34, single, unemployed of 12 Division Avenue in Belleville; Myrna Mendez, age 30, married, unemployed of 224 Woodside Avenue, 1st Floor in Newark; and Jason Montanez, age 20, single, unemployed of 108 Ellington Street in East Orange for shoplifting at the Target department store. All three individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.   

March 15, 8:14 p.m. – At the Middlesex County Jail, police arrested Jessica Peoples, age 29, single, unemployed of 196 Yorkshire Court in Old Bridge on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $769 for contempt of court. Peoples was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the investigating officer.

March 14, 6:08 p.m. – In the vicinity of 803 Raritan Road, police arrested Marlon Miller, age 23, single, unemployed of 1041 Henhawk Road in Baldwin, New York for possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS). Also arrested was Christopher Jones, age 23, single, unemployed of 3 Bramble Lane in Westbury, New York on an outstanding warrant from New York, New York for contempt of court. Both men were subsequently released pending a court date. Brian Renda was the arresting officer.
