Clark PD Investigating Person of Interest in Adams Street Hit-and-Run
The suspect is a Clark resident.
Clark Police have a lead in the Jan. 12 hit-and-run at the intersection of Adams Street and Madison Hill Road
According to Captain Al Scherb, police are investigating a Clark resident who is a "strong person of interest" in the case. Police are in talks with the suspect's attorney and no charges have been filed.
A 41-year-old female was struck by what a witness reported was a man in a white Ford F-150 at about 7 p.m. on Jan. 12. Clark Police responded to the scene and found the victim in the middle of Adams Street near where the road intersects Madison Hill Road.
In the weeks since the accident, the police department has been posting flyers in a search for the driver. It's unclear whether this suspect matches the witnesses description or owns a Ford F-150.
The victim's injuries were not life-threatening and, according to Scherb, she is doing well since the accident.
