Johnson 12, GL 2: Sal Demarzo and Vin Fischetti each recorded a hat trick in the Crusaders' 12-2 blowout win over GL.
-Sal DeMarzo and Vin Fischetti both scored two goals for Johnson in the loss to Old Bridge
Bowling
-North 2 Group 2 Sectional Champions!!! Finished first overall at the group championships with an overall total of 3001 pins. John Messina put in a 648 series which was good enough to allow him to quallify for the individual championships on 2/15. The Crusaders will test their luck against the state's best when they compete in the Meet of Champions on 2/17.

Brearley 65, Johnson 51:Dan Hogan led all Crusaders' scorers with 15 points in the loss.
Johnson 62, Brearley 44: The Crusaders got back on track with the win. Dan Hogan scored 17 points and guard John Caliguire added 11.
Girls Basketball
Johnson 63, Rahway 33: Michelle Smorlo led all scorers with 18 points in the win over Rahway.
Cranford 49, Johnson 26: Cyndi Wilson led the Crusaders with nine points in the loss.
Roselle Catholic 58, Johnson 46: Cyndi Wilson led all scorers with 22 points in the loss to Roselle Catholic.

MS 56, Iselin Kennedy 52: Jante Bracewell scored 28 points and had 13 rebounds in the win.
Metuchen 61, MS 49: Noelle Maertz scored 27 points in the loss to Metuchen. Jante Bracewell added 17.
MS 52, Middlesex 33: Jante Bracewell scored 22 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Noelle Maertz added 17 points and Lena Buccigrossi scored 9 points and totaled 11 rebounds.

Mother Seton 4, Perth Amboy 0: Kelly Stegura's high game of 185 and high series of 495 led all bowlers in the 4-0 win over Perth Amboy.
