Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers above the police station.
Clark council will meet tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers above the police station.
On the agenda is a resolution introducing the 2013 municipal budget.
The preliminary 2013 budget currently shows a 4.4-point tax increase, which equates to a $44 increase per $100,000 in home assessment. Last year's budget had only a two-point increase, while 2011's budget had an 8.6-point increase.
Business Administrator John Laezza told Patch this budget reflects $180,000 in emergency appropriations for Hurricane Sandy and a siginificant increase in paydown of the town's debt service, about $400,000 more than 2012.
Also on the agenda is the introduction of a eight-year contract with the Department of Public Works and an ordinance to establish a cap bank. See a PDF of the agenda in our gallery, right.
